Russell Lyons- Coach/Owner
Coach Russell started cheering his freshman year of high school. He cheered all 4 years and was Captain of his Varsity Team. After graduation, Coach Russell joined the Marine Corps and spent 7 ½ years as an Intelligence Operator, Platoon Sergeant, and eventually became an Intelligence Instructor. During his time on active duty, Coach Russell continued to volunteer his time when he could and in 2003 was awarded the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal and also received the Presidential Volunteer Service Award from President George W. Bush. After his Honorable Discharge, he went into coaching. He spent 2 years as the Cheerleading Coach for Carver Center for the Arts & Technology in Towson, MD, then moved onto coaching for the Hereford Zone Recreation Cheerleading teams. His final 3 years coaching there, he was the Director for the Cheerleading League. He next spent 1 year as the Head Coach for the Rebounder Gymnastics Cheerleading Team in Timonium, MD, before opening his own competitive cheerleading & dance gym named Regal All-Stars LLC in Timonium, MD. Currently he is a coach for the Baltimore County Special Olympics Cheerleading Teams, and a member of the Maryland State Special Olympics Cheerleading Management Team, as well as the instructor for Special Olympics Maryland Cheerleading Coaches Certification. In addition to coaching the Senior Level 3 Team, the Devil Dogs, Coach Russell also coaches the Towson University All-Star Teams, Gold & Black. Coach Russell believes that cheerleading should be a fun sport for everyone to enjoy. He runs his teams that way, while still stressing the importance of safety first. In May of 2016, Coach Russell was named Coach of the Year, by US Finals. He takes the core values he learned while in the Marine Corps…Honor, Courage, & Commitment, and tries to instill them into all of his cheerleaders.
Danielle Myers- Head Cheer Coach
Coach Danielle started cheering when she was 11 years old for Catonsville Stars’ rec team. Her second season with Catonsville Stars she was selected for their competitive team. In her freshman year of high school, she made her school’s Varsity Cheerleading team and began coaching for Catonsville’s rec teams. Coach Danielle preferred competing over cheering at football games, and returned to Catonsville’s Stars competitive team to cheer until she was 19. Coach Danielle began working as Coach Russell’s assistant coach at Rebounders shortly before joining him at Regal All-Stars. She is currently the Head Coach for the Junior Level 2 team, The Devil Pups.
Madison Knoll - Cheer Coach
Coach Madison has been part of Regal All Stars since it opened. She has cheered on the Senior Level 3 team, as well as assisted with the Special Needs team, Recon. In the Fall of 2016, Coach Madison became the Head Coach for Recon as well as Assistant Coach for the Youth Level 1 team, The Bulldogs. She is now currently the Head Coach for Recon and Assistant Coach for the Junior Level 2 team, The Devil Pups.
Tiara Brown - Cheer Coach
Coach Tiara attends Towson University majoring in Sociology-Anthropology with a concentration in Criminal Justice. She began cheering her 9th grade year at Wilde Lake High School. While on junior varsity, she won the Wildecat award for her team spirit. She then went on to make varsity during the spring of her freshman year. Coach Tiara became co-captain of her team during her senior year. Before that, she was on her middle school’s Poms Squad. Coach Tiara entered the all-star cheer world during her freshman year at Towson University through the university’s club cheer team which Coach Russell coaches. She began assistant coaching at Regal All-Stars in the spring of 2017 for the Devil Pups under Coach Danielle. Coach Tiara became Head Coach of the Bulldogs in the summer of 2017.
Lyndsey Krafft - Cheer Coach
Coach Lyndsey started cheering at 7 years old on her Elementary School super squad team. When she was 8, she tried out for Maryland Marlins all stars and made their level 1 team. Coach Lyndsey was a Maryland Marlin for 4 years; she competed on levels 1,2, and 3. When Coach Lyndsey was 12 she moved across seas with her family and lived in Germany. Moving back the summer before her freshman year in high school, Coach Lyndsey was eager to get back into the sport of cheerleading. As a freshman, she made the varsity cheerleading team and became a captain her junior year. Throughout high school, Coach Lyndsey volunteered as an assistant coach for the the Howard County Special Olympics cheerleading team. She currently attends Towson University and is studying Elementary Education. She became a member of the Towson All star Cheer team her freshman year and began working at Regal the following year.
